AWhere develops and provides location intelligence solutions to businesses and users seeking rapid, actionable, quantitative insight from geospatial data analysis. AWhere provides Location Intelligence (“LI”) and delivers integration of spatial information (physical location) with temporal data (what has happened, when it has happened, and trends to indicate what may happen and when) often creating new information and invaluable insight. By delivering timely, actionable insight to front-office users at the point of decision, AWhere’s products fill a broad gap between professional mapping packages created by Geographical Information Systems (GIS) companies, BI companies, and the exploding web-viewer space currently being popularized by Google Maps and Virtual Earth.

History
The Company was originally organized in March 1999 as a Texas corporation under the name Mud Springs Geographers, Inc. (“MSG”), and operated as an information technology ("IT") consulting firm with a vision to produce a geo-visualization and geo-analytical tool kit for decision makers. While working with clients, Mud Springs realized that the tools they needed to connect places with people, transactions and conditions were too complicated to use interactively or too simplistic to effectively disseminate results. This prompted them to develop AWhere SIS (Spatial Information System) a desktop software solution, to help them deliver their services and at the same time fill the needs of their broad range of clients, who were not GIS (Geographical Information Systems) professionals.
In February 2007 the Company changed its name to AWhere, Inc. (AWI) and its focus from consulting to a software products and services provider. AWI solutions are used by customers worldwide in the Agriculture, International Relief, Sales & Marketing, and Consumer Packaged Goods industries.
