Download US Census Data Sets
We have made it easy for you to access and map year 2000 US Census data within AWhere software. Sample US Census data sets are available below. Everything necessary for the mapping of state level, county level, tract level, and/or Block Group level census data is available below.
You will need to download the desired boundary layer .amap (AWhere Map Exchange) file(s) first, and then download the corresponding data table(s). You will import the .amap file(s) into AWhere and then use the Data Connection capability in AWhere to establish a connection between the map layers contained in the AWhere Map Exchange file, and the data in the data table(s).
If you are not familiar with AWhere Map Exchange, we recommend that you work through the "Beginner" 1, 2, and 3 training modules, provided with your installation of AWhere Professional/Express. If you are not familiar with the Data Connection capability of AWhere, you should work through the "Connect to My Data" training module, also provided with your installation of AWhere Professional/Express. You can access those at any time by selecting "Training Modules" from AWhere’s Help menu.
