- Click on the "Weather" tab.
- Under the headlines you will see a blue menu row. AWhere InSite is active behind the "My Weather" and the "Pest Monitor" options.
- Click and open one of them – select your theme from the drop down list, then pan, zoom, and click the pin – push the pin in – and the charts and tables update.

Features
Configurable menus
Configurable menus within the Viewer provide access to key business metrics; choose display parameters and the regional display level appropriate for analysis. For example, the Viewer (inset at center) shows the counties with highest to lowest Sales per Employee Growth in the manufacturing sector.
Interactive zoom controls
Interactive zoom controls allow the user to reveal trends for zip code areas, block groups or larger geographic areas such as metropolitan areas, Nielsen markets, states or trade areas of interest.
GeoList function
The GeoList function automatically creates a dynamic list of the all the data items which match the criteria selected within the geographical region of interest. The list results are available for onscreen review, and as an XML feed for seamless integration back into the main website.
MyMaps
MyMaps is a collection of views created within the Viewer that can be easily retrieved during the next online session. The map collection can be shared with colleagues as a PowerPoint presentation, PDF report, or AMap for advanced analysis with our Professional desktop software product. Collections can be reviewed online, in automatic or manual mode. A collection of MyMaps can also be made available for new users to get them started.
Data Services
The Viewer communicates with your data and our Information sources in real-time, ensuring the latest data is always available. Additionally, data connections can be made in real-time, and over the web using APIs and XML calls. Data handlers automate provisioning, processing and archiving of all customer and third party data. Raw data is geocoded and processed into spatial layers for initial map displays. As part of our professional services package, customers can request more data sources are available.
Segment Paks
Segment Paks contain the most requested data sets specific to your market, including consumer, business and weather demographics with additional data sources available.

Features
Trends
Trends exposes interactive mapping controls for all data assets available through the information center. Criteria ranges are clickable allowing the user to selectively filter and re-aggregate area views.
For example, the user can elect to show only regions in the top percentile for employee growth and below average home values. In response the map view updates according to your selection.
Select how you want the results aggregated –by county, merchant area, zip codes or Census blocks.
Territory
Territory lets you define sales or trade regions of interest by selecting interactive map features such as Counties or 3-digit zips from the map, or importing a saved list and setting this as the default map regions. Territories can be configured by any recognized geographic boundary such as retail trade areas, census blocks and sub-blocks.
Viewer Spotlight
Viewer Spotlight, Info and Charts expose additional information associated with the current map view. The Info tab allows the user to work with the data through an editable table, much like Excel, where the user can calculate proprietary indexes.
Sources Tab
Sources tab allows you to review and change what data sources are configured with the application suite. The user can establish live connections to their own data sources that are not available from the information center. An import wizard steps the user through the file upload process in a few easy steps. The wizard supports Excel, Access, ESRI shape files and other data formats. Enterprise data feeds are supported with automatic feed handlers configured during set up through our professional services group.
Configurable Application Suite
InSite Plus allows you to create the right package and user experience for your online experience. Install standalone components or the full suite for an integrated display. Use the application to easily spot locations with the highest percentage of Hispanic households, with small children (0 to 9 years old) with household income in the 90% percentile. Then, display all retail locations in that area that sells consumer electronics and then create a GeoList of that data. Or find all the US medical clinics near heavy equipment manufacturing companies, then highlight regions of highest industrial risk. InSite helps you more easily spot trends in the data, than was ever possible before with spreadsheets and charts.
Bi-directional interaction
Bi-directional interaction with the InSite View, enabling field personal to input real-time data.
InSite Plus: is a collaborative web application that enables bi-directional interaction with the InSite Viewer. It allows your users to input their data. Plus includes all the features of the Viewer, advanced analytics, territory management and expanded data sources.

Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX framework MS SQL Server Spatial supports the web application layer and provides programming extensibility and latest browser support. XML provides an open industry-standard for displaying, exchanging and storing data.
