aWhere COO Dave Lundberg is in Des Moines, Iowa the week of Oct. 14 to participate in the 2013 Borlaug Dialogue. The Borlaug Dialogue is an annual symposium where agricultural leaders gather to discuss approaches to combat global food security. This year’s symposium will bring together world leaders and experts from over 65 countries to discuss innovations, tools and technologies, and sustainable approaches to food security in the face of climate change.
The dialogue will focus on looking ahead to the next century of agricultural advances; encouraging innovation, while keeping solutions for small holder farmers at the heart of the discussion.
This week’s lineup of speakers includes former prime minister of Great Britian, Tony Blair; President of Iceland Olafur Ragnar Grimsson; and President of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, at the Holy See in the Vatican, Cardinal Peter K.A Turkson.
