Through direct support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, aWhere and our partner, AgInnovate (a not-for-profit African technology company), make location-based intelligence and information available to farmers, governments and NGOs in Africa through innovative technology platforms. Focused on the delivery of agriculture weather data (observed and forecast), as well as pest model data, the goal is to provide access to the driving variable behind agri-business: weather.  From research and development and prioritization to targeting farmers for specific in-season strategies, location based information delivers actionable insight.
